I run the kozmic Dreamers popular song event for unsigned artists and I also run the cosmic club. I was thinking how the vast majority of artists would like to have a record deal but can't get one.

We know roughly speaking there are about 24 record companies/labels with no more than 2000 well known artists. We also know there are about 16,000,000 artists/bands in the world roughly speaking. The odds of getting a record deal is about 0.000125 % you would have a better chance winning the lottery or a better chance in the Cosmic Club.

The Cosmic Club is a funding club for singer/songwriters, musicians and bands who wish to raise money for projects such as recording an ep, album, or music video, therefore even if you do not have a song for sale you can still enter. The Cosmic Club can also be about a chance to win some money and do with it what you will. If a member of the public wishes to enter The Cosmic Club they can.

So imagine if the cosmic club had 100 members in the first month, the 2nd month it had 200 members and the 3rd month 400 members and the 4th month 800 members and the 5th month it had 1600 members and so on. Imagine if there were 70,000 members in the cosmic club or more and instead of being on a monthly basis it went to a fortnightly basis.

From my point of view I would rather see 700 to 1000 artists being successful or at least having the funds to realize some of their dreams than to see no artists at all becoming successful.

I have lots of ideas and at some point I would also get the public involved the Kozmic Dreamers Song event and The Cosmic Club are just the first steps.
